Lawrence has a Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy/Counseling with a specialty in Child & Adolescent Therapy. He uses a combination of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focus & dialectical behavior therapies, plus a psychodynamic perspective to help patients deal with depression, anxiety, loss, anger, relationship difficulties, and issues leading to behavior disorders to name a few.

Lawrence’s undergraduate degree is from North Carolina Central University and his graduate studies are from The University of N.C. Chapel Hill and Richmont Graduate University, Atlanta GA where he received his Masters Degree.

He is a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

In addition to being the offices lead therapist, Lawrence also serves as the Practice Administrator for Pediatrics at Whitlock.

In his spare time, Lawrence likes to travel the world with family and friends. He enjoys reading, watching documentaries, nature programs and all facets of music and theatre. But, his heartfelt passion is Missions for which he volunteers his time and talents to serve those in need, both domestic and international.

He is a native of Somerset, New Jersey. Lawrence is married and celebrates having two beautiful girls who are both in college.
